    Problem reedeming a 12mth Xbox Live code


    I redeemed my 12mth Xbox Live code & everything went fine, no error message, but when I go to my subscriptions it still has my old one. This is due to run out on the 6th Feb but Microsoft take the money out my account on the 29th.

    Will new subscription kick in when old one ends, first time getting a 12mth one previously on the monthly one.

    I did try & do it again but it said code had already been redeemed, I am at a loss! Have tried to speak to someone on Microsoft but it wont connect.

    Problem reedeming a 12mth Xbox Live code

    Hi there,

    as far as I know, if the old one is one that pas auto renewed via payment option, then it's best to turn auto renewal off for that one.

    Also be sure to check the End Date for subscription after the renewal was stopped.

    It should show the EndDate about 12m in the future.

    If that isn't showing after the cancelling renewal was ended (sometimes it's best to wait 24 hours before checking it) it's best to Contact Xbox Support so they can look into the 12m subscription you have redeemed.

    I spoke to someone at Microsoft & they checked my account & seen that I had tried to redeem my code, guy said there must have been a glitch,

    anyway he sorted me out with 12mth subscription so all is good Problem reedeming a 12mth Xbox Live code :))
