Problem redeeming Xbox One codes on Xbox.com

Apparently codes I redeem on Xbox.com will not register on my Xbox One Console. This has occurred twice

Once with the Titan Fall Beta Codes (Thankfully that ended up being open to everyone).

Now it has occurred with the Xbox One update preview. Anyone else having this problem.

How to Redeem a Code on Xbox One - QR Code or 25 Character Code

Hey guys! Okay, so you need to figure out how to redeem codes on the Xbox One? Well, there are a few ways of doing this.

1.

• Login to Xbox.com (top right hand side)
• In the top bar, mouse over Xbox Live Gold
• You'll see 'Redeem Code' in the drop down list
• Click 'Redeem' and enter your 25 digit code!

If your code is a game or DLC, it will automatically start downloading once you login to your Xbox, unless you have your Xbox in standby, which will allow it to download right away!


2.

• From the main page of the Xbox One dashboard, scroll to the right to the 'Games' section and select that section -or- If your Kinect is connected, say "Xbox, Use a Code"
• If you have a QR code (that square looking code thing), you can hold it up to your Kinect to redeem it.
• If you have a 25 digit code, in the lower left of the screen, you have the option to "enter the 25-character code." Click that and enter your code. Confirm your code and you're all set!

Your item will automatically download. Enjoy!

Cant buy tings of xbox one store

I am having the same problem. The support page says it is back up but I have not been able to purchase anything on Xbox one for over a week now. No problem buying games and redeeming codes on Xbox.com but nothing on Xbox one since at least last Tuesday.

 

Are you receiving any error codes? If not, you should be able to see them under My games and apps.

No error codes. It was redeemed successfully online. However the Xbox One never downloads.

When I try the same code on the console, it of course says already redeemed. Spoke (Chatted) with a support specialist and they confirmed the code was registered under my ID.

 

You have to go to the "My Games & Apps" section on your console and then look for things either in the Queue or things that are ready to be installed on the far-right of the apps/games list.

 

Unfortunately that was the first thing I looked at. Probable I was told by the online Xbox live agent that the code has been registered on their end but I'll need a new code to enter on the console end. Which they allegedly will provide. However I had to
create a thread about the issue. Why? I have no clue but here I am day 3 trying to get this resolved. Thank you kind gents for the previous suggestions regardless.

 

Sooo.. still awaiting that replacement code.

 

I thought the same, check My Games & Apps on the console, go to the Apps tab and scroll all the way to the right.

I found mine at the very end on a side bar saying ready to install.

Got the same problem. Put in the code, but no install yet.

Glad I am not the only one.

[Edit] OK waited a bit, exited the "my apps" and quit the application. Relaunched and it was all the way on the right [edit]

I had the same issue, but when used the kinect to push all the way to the right, at Apps section of My Games & Apps, the Preview Registration App was there ready to install.

 

Thanks again guys. It finally became available in my apps section all the way to the right. after a couple of resets.

 

I have the same problem was sent the code but the code will not work contacted xbox 5 times with no luck have no idea how to get a new code, any ideas please? ??
