    Problem recording live audio comments with DVR on Windows 10


    Hi there, I am recording Gameplay with DVR on Windows 10 and it Works fine, except that I can't hear my live audio comments. I have activated the mic in the DVR app settings, and when I look at the mic settings in Windows 10 everything looks ok.

    Somebody has a tip on how to solve this?

    No sound recorded in XBOX GAME DVR videos in Windows 10

    I have 2 XBOX ONEs and neither of them are recording audio with Game DVR in Windows 10 when streaming via XBOX App.

    They both have the NXOE update. Video records just fine.I recorded a number of videos from Xbox App a month ago with audio but now it's not working.

    PC - Alienware Aurora R4. OS Windows 10.

    Thank you for bringing this up. Let's try to isolate this issue so that we could identify what's causing you unable to use the mic when recording game clips on your computer. Kindly provide us the following information below:

    • Can you tell us when did the issue start?
    • May I know if you installed the latest Windows 10 Update on your computer?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

    In the meantime, I recommend that you try switching off the Recorded Audio option in Game DVR from
    Settings > Gaming, then try to turn it back on and check if you will be able to record the audio from your microphone.
