Problem reading game content.

I've been offline for a few months because of issues with my ISP. I'm finally back online and got an update when I launched Destiny. Now I get this error message, "Problem reading game content. Please close and restart Destiny to try again."

I Googled it and found a bunch of people complaining about this since way back in September, but I can't find any fix. Please help!

Yesterday I was playing my game (Destiny 2) completely fine, I turned off the Xbox using my remote and since inserting the disc yesterday the console itself has not been touched... yet today when I tried to launch the game I was
told it had a problem reading game content just after the login screen. Literally nothing had been touched since yesterday and it was working then, I've tried cleaning the disc but it is practically spotless yet still not working. I've tried other games and
they load fine. What can I do?

Sorry to hear it. This could be the beginning of a disc reader issue and I would recommend looking into sending it in for repairs. However, in the meantime you could try holding the disc for about 2 seconds when the console grabs it. Be aware though that
this is not recommended as there is a possibility that it could scratch the disc.

Same here. This is ridiculous. Where does one get help? Have had the xb1 for 10 days and can't get things to work properly. This goes back to the store tomorrow! Going back to Sony!

This may be a network problem or some corrupted data in the installation. Try checking the network status, otherwise you should uninstall the game and reinstall it.

So after the game is finished installing on my internal drive, is that all? Do I not need to use my external drive to play the game?

Yes I heard of wanting to convert to an SSD but then I would be voiding my warranty if I still had it. I've read online that the Xbox one X comes with an SSD. I wouldn't be able to just send my Xbox in and ask to replace it with a new SSD, would I?
