problem playing offline

Hello my name is spiritix and i'm a french player on xbox (360 and one ) i'm having problem though on xbox one it is said that while offline you can still play games if you have the disk or if it's on your main console I tried to play minecraft offline it
asks me "please connect one xbox live to play the game" fair enough but when i try with skyrim fallout tomb raider which are solo only games i can't play when I'm offline please help me , please do not tell me i have bought this console for nothing.

It sounds to me like your console doesn't hold the local license for the game.Are you sure you're playing it on the console it was originally downloaded to?If so,have you transferred the license to another console?

You may have to do a license transfer to be able to play Minecraft offline.Until then,you'll have to be signed into Xbox Live in order to play it.You can read more about license transfers

I bought minecraft and still play it on the same console with the same profile. The problem is if i start up minecraft while offline, even if i sign into the same profile and console, the game then becomes a trial version. Is this a known issue? It seems
that i cant play minecraft offline without a gold account and internet connection.

 

If it will not play your games in offline mode, then yes. Your console isn't worth a plug nickel.

 

As long as your console is set as your home console & set in offline mode in the network settings then it should play the majority of your games while not connected to live.

Some games require you to be connected to live so obviously they wont work.

 

Is there a complete and up to date list of Xbox one games that will not work in offline mode?

I simply think knowing what games to avoid buying would be worth its weight in gold. Especially those games which will not run in offline mode!

Any game that is online only are the only ones that wont work offline as far as I know.

If it's a physical copy it should tell you this on the back of the box,digital games should tell you somewhere in the item description.

 

Minecraft, Shyrim, Fallout, and Tomb Raider isn't online only, yet according to the OP. He can't play those games in offline mode.

I have never tried to play in offline mode but would like to know that if I ever did that my games (360 as well as xbox one) are guarenteed to run, I have checked the back of my physical games and haven't found a single line on neither which can be interepted
as unable, in whole or part, to play while in offline mode.

OP, have you or support been able to get the games you mentioned working in offline mode? - Never mind. Just seen that you were 'Reported' for posting so you probably can't answer even if you wanted to. Which begs the question...

What about this thread was threatening enough to warrent it being reported?

 

Apart from Skyrim I've played all the games you've mentioned offline myself with no problem at all.There's no reason why Skyrim wouldn't work either as it's not an online only game.

Like I said,as long as it's your home console & set in offline mode then the games should work.

Games like Destiny wont as they are online only games.

 

Had a look on the back of my copy of Battleborn & it does say in big red words that it is online only so I would think that's the same on other online only games.
