Problem on my Xbox Live Gold Subscription

Good night:

On the afternoon I entered a Xbox Live Gold code and this appeared on my account in the part of subscriptions. When I try to play online with my friends, it appears that I need to buy a Xbox Live Gold subscription, though I already enter one subscription.

What should I do?

Wait so you get 2 free games every month even if you stop paying for Gold??

Yeah, unless something has changed recently, you get to keep your Xbox 360 gold games.

But the Xbox One gold games you need to have an active subscription.

If the subcription shows, try the following steps

1. Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)

3. Redownload your profile

I'm having the same problem as GrubbierQuill89 because when I try to go online it says I need to join xbox live when I already have a xbox live subscription
