    Problem of Changing the region of your Xbox LIVE account


    Hello,

    I got a problem which I can not Change the region of your Xbox LIVE account. from Hongkong to United States.

    I have not change the region of my account for 1 year at least, and I don't know where the problem happened now. Could you help me solve it?

    How can i change my country?

    well 2 things

    jamaica is not a supported xbox live region

    if you do not live in a xbox live region you cannot download region locked content like halo reach

    so changing the region will not work because you need your physical location must match the region of the account



    you cannot change the region of your account once set

    Thank you for your reply, and I checked every items as your said, but I cann't find any reason that I break the rules. That is very confusing.

    Taken from the official support pages:

    Something went wrong. Sorry about that. Give it a try in a while

    If there are any issues with the Xbox Live service, try to redeem the prepaid code later.

    If there are no problems with the Xbox Live service, check the following:

    •The region for the code matches the region for your Xbox Live account. If you need to change your region, see Change your Xbox Live country/region in your billing information.

    •The billing information for your Xbox Live account is correct.

    •The region in your Xbox Live billing information matches the country where you currently live.

    •There's not an outstanding balance on your Xbox Live payment option.

    If you need to change the region for your Xbox Live account, go to account.xbox.com and then click Change my region.

    Can't Change Gamertag to different Microsoft Account

    Hi,

    possibly the accounts are set to different regions to resolve this problem, check the region of your Microsoft account and change it if necessary. Here's how:

    Go to accounts.live.com and sign in with your Microsoft account.

    Under Account information, select Edit personal info.

    Under Home you can select a different country or region to match the region of your Xbox LIVE account. If you need to change the country/region, select Change.

    After you’ve changed the country/region to match the region for your Xbox LIVE account, click Save.

    It doesnt matter what region you set your console as

    You arent understanding the problem

    Your account region console region and language region and actual region MUST BE THE SAME

    so using an incorrect region wont work

    If you dont live in an xbox live region you cant get it

    Those other games are xbox one games

    For bc titles your account region and actual region MUST MATCH

    Changing yoir account region would also may canvel out your subscription if you dont live in an XGU region

    The region of your account can ojnly be changed in mansge my account on this website

    It can also only be changed every 3 months

    Your account region must reflect your actual region

    You must use the region migration tool in this website under account and change my region

    Please note you must live in an xbox live country or don't use the tool you will lose your membership if you migrate to an non xbox live region

    After changing your region you must change the console region to match

    If you don't live in an xbox live region there is nothing you can do.
