    Problem installing Skype


    Having an issue trying to install Skype for Xbox One. The counter gets to 100% and then I get a notification saying that the installation has stopped. I have before and since installed other games and apps without this problem occurring. I have tried the
    "Try installing again" button. I have tried "Uninstall" and then manually reinstalling the app. I have powered down the console and turned it off and on at the mains. I have 238.6Gb free so it is not a space issue. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Skype Not Opening on Xbox One

    Please try removing the Skype app and then installing it again from the Store.

    Not sure if this will help, but when I installed Skype, I was asked if I wanted to merge my Skype and XBL logins, have you done/tried that?

    When using Skype my camera is a green box.

    Uninstalled skype and re-installed it. That Fixed the problem.

    I also have my problems with the new Skype on the Xbox. The support can be completely forgotten. The Skype team redirects you to the Xbox team. And the same thing happens the other way round. It's incredible that Microsoft doesn't manage to get its own
    systems under control. Skype on the Xbox would have so much potential. Meanwhile I gave Kinect away and installed a standard USB webcam. With that it works better.
