    Problem Installing One Specific game GTAV.


    I would like your help with an installation problem I have tried every way possible that the Xbox support has given me also the community ambassadors. None of these solutions resolved my problem. It's only happening with one game which is GTAV on disc. I
    have also tried a friends disc and that does not work either so that way I know there is no problem with the disc. What happened was I had GTA about 3years ago when I first had Xbox, about a month ago I accidentally uninstalled the game to free space to install
    a different game. After that I instantly tried to install the game back and since then I've tried every way I can and it keeps getting stuck on 39% please help.

    GTA V gets to the Rockstar logo and then freezes with sound still on

    I ended up un-installing GTAV then re-installing and that seems to of fixed the problem, starts fine every time now, so if your still having issues with it freezing give it a try also.

    Moving GTA 5 game play disc to USB? How?

    Hey,

    Installing the games disc can corrupt your GTAV game save if installed to the HDD

    Just so your aware you may lose progress in the game

    Game install problem to specific device

    Make sure it is a Xbox compatible game for starters. For instance, AoE2 isn’t playable on Xbox but it is on PC through Game Pass. Also double check the device you’re trying to download it too, like if you’re using an external hardrive or if you’re downloading
    straight to the internal, sometimes files can get downloaded to the wrong place. Lastly, make sure you are using the account that is linked to your Xbox account / Email address provided and make sure your account is set as your home Xbox

    I'm having the same problem, but at the beginning of the Trevor missions. I only have disk one installed and I have tried reinstall/clearing cache/ rebooting after install and so on, I've had the disk's replaced twice and I even bought a new hard drive/
    tried installing to USB flash 18Gb... Nothing works.

    My Xbox plays everything else fine by the way and I'm having no other problems, I've been through GTAV forums and people are talking about it being an Xbox update???

    Its the game that restarts to title screen tho, the Xbox doesn't actually freeze, my Xbox is fine during the process.

    Really want to carry on playing GTAV, getting really annoyed! :(

    How do you enable cloud storage?

    Are you trying to install GTAV? If so you would need an official Microsoft hard drive or a USB flash drive with at least 8GBs of free space. You cannot install GTAV to the cloud
