    Problem in my name!


    My name is but in my Xbox account, I''m getting my name as "Abridgedapple73". This error started from the minute when I created my Xbox account and I don't know how to change it!

    Gamertag Change When Not Approiate

    My name was changed to From Selling Routers when there was no problem wit my gt and no one ever had a problem with my name. I would like the opportunity to get my gt back or at least a free name change.

    Profile Name Problem

    I apologize for the double post, but it won't allow my friends to use that name either. So far three of my buddies have reported it won't let them use that name.

    Hey there, so are you using the same email and password as you use to sign-in to this website? It does sound like you're using the wrong details to sign-in on the console as it's showing correctly on the website. Did you recently change it? It can take at
    least 24hrs to update on the console sometimes.

    You can also try deleting the profile from the console (profile only), clear the system cache, restart the console and re-download the profile to see if it sync's up the correct name.

    Delete and re-download profile:
    support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

    Clear system cache:
    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

    How are you?

    If the Gamertag reports as not allowed it is only because it is blocked on the XBL side for a reason. I'm afraid there's no way around this other than trying another Gamertag combination.
