Problem in deleting a DLC from hard disk.

Hello.

I downloaded a free DLC content from the store without owning the game, believing it was standalone, but it wasn't. The DLC is Dead Kings from the game Assassin's Creed Unity. So, I tryed to delete it. I can't play it because I did not purchase the whole
game. Going on "My games & apps" i can't find it, so i can't delete it cause it's not shown. I see that it is installed on my X1 cause on the DLC page on the store I can see "Installed". I talked with a girl of the Xbox support and she told me that I have
to restore entirely my Xbox to delete the DLC. I believe it's nonsense! I'm simply looking for a way to delete it, I don't want to restore my console and repeating all my settings and downloading all my games only because I can't manage ALL the content on
my hard disk!

Anyone knows another (simpler) way to delete the DLC?

try deleting disk 2 from your hard drive and re-installing it

Try deleting the game from hard disk and redownload it. Also, be sure to have all your languages settings in english on the console.

Hey there, Marchicedu! I'm very sorry to see that you are unable to remove the Dead Kings DLC from your console! There are a few ways that you will be able to remove this. Before I list those, I would appreciate it if you could you please provide me with
your console's operating system. Please post back the entire OS, including the stuff in the parentheses. Once I have this, I can pass it along to the appropriate teams to
look into further.

Here are the steps you can take in the meantime to get rid of the DLC:

• You can borrow the disc based version of the game, install it, and then uninstall both from the Manage option.
  
• You can have a friend who owns the digital version of the game download their profile and the game onto your console, and then do the same as above.
  
• You can restore your console to factory defaults, but this will require you to install everything else onto your console again, as you are aware.
  
• You are more than welcome to purchase the game to gain access to the Manage section for it as well; however it is not a suggested troubleshooting step unless you plan on playing the game.
  

Lastly, to help make your voice heard, I suggest making a post on our
Feedback site suggesting that a way to access DLC without having the base game be implemented.

I do hope this helps you out! Please do post back with your operating system so that I can pass it along to the appropriate people.

As you can see (at least, i guess ) this is the last one version, cause i updated it yesterday.

I created a new thread because i didnt see this one, that expose exactly the same problem I've got. I have some DLCs that I cant delete because i dont have the game anymore.

Its very disapointing to see that this problem is still here 1 year after the xbox one release, and missing a function that the xbox360 got almost from the beginning...

On the feedback page we can see :

You can delete DLC without the game installed!

Go to My Games & Apps, and in the games section, scroll all the way to the right; you’ll see your uninstalled games in the “Ready To Install” section. Highlight the tile of the game with DLC you want to remove, press the Menu button, then choose “Manage
Game.” From here you can choose “Uninstall All” and remove any leftover DLC."

Unfortunately, it doesnt work... On the right there is only a panel saying : "know more about marketplace" or something similar, and my 2 games doesnt show (titanfall and ac4, 2 games for which I own some DLC installed and that I can't remove)

 

I think that this section mentioned regards only games purchased in digital format. If you played the game installing it with a blue-ray disc, you will not able to se that game and its DLC in that section.

guys are correct in that it is only for digital games.
