    Problem gamertag


    Hello,

    My sister has a gamertag (not connected to Xbox live) in Xbox 360. Now, she has a Windows Phone (Nokia Lumia 800) where she cans to connect, But she has only 10 years old, so we have to connect her in xbox.com, and you give me an another gamertag, Why ?
    Is it because, she didn't connecting in Xbox live ? Because, she can't have her "G" point, she have more than 1200 points.

    So, could you help we ? Please

    Gamer profile issue

    Problem solved created a new sdult profile and linked it old gamertag. Then changed settings and now can play online!

    Does anyone have a problem with my Gamertag?

    Just curious if the gametag MyKneeGrows82 offends anyone and why? i have been a loyal x-box player for over a decade, and suddenly after thousands of people seeing my gamertag, and not having a problem with it, enforcement changes my gamertag, which by the way does not include any of the things that they say it shouldn't, so am i being singled out as an example? i don't see how showing proudly my race in my gamertag is a problem. Any thoughts on whether or not this should be possible for enforcement to do when the gamertag is in violation of none of the requirements of the enforcement&policies agreement whatsoever.

    if a gamertag is never connected to xbox live, ever, on a 360 it is a local profile. you cannot use that on other devices.

    you would need to connect it to live (xbox live free is fine) and then sign into it on the lumia

    Yep, as Ady says, the other gamertag is not Live-enabled, so it only exists on that particular console, not the Live service. Therefore it made a new one when she signed in to Xbox.com and that would be the one that appears on the Lumia if signing in with
    the same details.

    To correct this, you would need to use the console to make the offline profile into a Live Gamertag (for which you would now need another email address), and then you would be able to set up the Lumia using those details instead.

    Note that the account on the console would not be able to use the same e-mail address as the one on the phone. If you wanted to use that one you'd have to change the e-mail address associated with the account currently on the phone (support.xbox.com/.../switch-gamertag-to-different-microsoft-account).
    - Or you could just download the account from the phone onto the console; your sister would have to re-earn any achievements from her old profile if she wanted them on the new one.

    Nothing can be done for you really. You might be able to call customer support, or pay to rechange it. Most likely it was user error and you just switched the cap on the letters.

    If you're being harrassed, then you should file a complaint and block communications with those gamers. There is no way to get a free gamertag change.
