    Problem due to beta insiders software.


    I had been in the beta update program for a while. Tried to get out of it once my Xbox one x started to get buggy. While I did discontinue the program and even once I got an update afterwards, once I looked at the installed software version it still stated Dev in the title. So matter what I did even doing an offline update, the title for the software version would be Dev. Also I have done a bunch of factory resets, to the same end. Now my Xbox one x is completely not working. It'll turn on but that's it. You don't hear any of the normal werring upon start up and I get no video signal. I know the HDMI port and cable are good cause I tested it with my normal Xbox one. I just what to know what my options are here on foreward. None if this started untill after I started the insider program and once I left it should have taken me out if Dev and into the normal software? Sorry this is long and thanks for any help or advice

    Xbox Bricked after Microsoft mandatory update.

    As an Insider, it passed through alpha, beta, delta and omega rings with no issue like this. Due to how few are reporting problems, would point to a hardware fault that coincided with the update.

    It is rare that a software update would brick a console. Knowing which models of Xbox are involved would help.

    I had the same problem a year ago while i was in the xbox Insider program and had a beta firmware.

    Do you use some kind of pre-release software?

    Insider builds require you to be able to legally agree to things, including but not limited to that this is beta software that could cause problems with your system. You as the adult would have to install it.
