Problem downloading content

Hello everyone,

I've recently started to have some troubles with my Xbox 360. Since the last system update I haven't been able to download some content from the marketplace.

When I tried downloading "Tomb Raider", the download would get to 6% and then show a notification "Can't download Tomb Raider" I tried for days to download the game, but I kept getting the same notification, so I gave up.

Now, I've been trying to get Gears of War: Judgment and I can't download it either, but this time my console started freezing. Sometimes it took about 20- 30 minutes to respond and sometimes it just didn't respond at all and I had to restart the console.

Everything is being downloaded to a Flash Drive that I have been using to download other games. Curiously, some of the games in the flash drive became unplayable. I formatted the flash drive and, following the recommendations from other threads, I cleared
the system cache. With this, the console is not freezing anymore but it doesn't download the game. Last night it was 0% and, after 30 minutes it jumped into 80% and then, 2 minutes later, it showed me the same notification.

But this error only seems to happen when downloading larger games, because I downloades Fruit Ninja and Life is Strange and no error or notification appeared, and I could play them just fine.

Is anybody else having the same trouble?

I know it's kind of complicated, but thanks for taking the time to respond and trying to help me .

Downloading Content Problem

Hey there! We'd be happy to take a look at this for you. Here's a couple general steps that may help:

• First would be to head to the Sign In screen and select the last option "download profile" to recover your account
  
• You'll also want to
  clear the console cache.

Now, if those don't them, then can you please answer a couple questions to help us narrow down where the hangup is?

1. What game are you trying to download?
2. Did it fail before or after the purchase was made?
3. What happens if you try to queue it up through the Xbox.com marketplace?
4. Any error codes at all?

 

Downloading Content Problem

I can't download a game, it just says pending download which has happened after the security proofs needed to be updated.

 

Ok does your account region match your actual region?

What is your connection type

What is your speed test .net resultt

Your account region needd to match your actual region since gears of war is region locked

 

No, it doesn´t match. I'll change it right now, but then is Tomb Raider also region locked?

My speed test results are this: Ping: 13 ms. Download speed: 1.75 Mbps. Upload speed: 0.28 Mbps

And my connection type is DSL. My Xbox is connected to he WiFi.

Yes tombraider was region locked

If you are using the website to hypass the region locks thats why

Work arounds are work arounda for a reasom it doesnt always work

Your speed is too slow for large downloads also and will most likely time out

But rhw key issue here is the region lock

It didn't work. I started downloading and then it started freezing. By the time it responded and I got to the "Active Downloads" section, the download had already stopped :/

 

Like i saud it is region locked

And your speed is too slow you are better off using a friends connection

Also a side note this is somethinf you shouldve done before

You are queuing the us content still becauss it remains in your download history

You can try using the website to queue the brazil content but it can takr upto 90days for migration to complete and there is no garentee it will queue thr correct content
