    Problem downloading a game twice on a new PC


    Good morning,
    I have purchased a game in 2019 through my Microsoft account, using a redeem code. I see it in my old orders when I log in into my account.
    That said, now I have a new computer and, whenever I try to install it again, it asks me to pay for its whole price instead of letting me download it. It bugs me because I have the game linked to my account, in theory.. and yes, of course I log in before trying to download it!
    Can someone help me figure this out, please?

    Also, when you sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders may I ask what is the status?

    I don't buy the same game twice very often. I can only name 4 games that I bought twice. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 DISC & Digital Download, BF3 for Xbox 360/PC and GTA IV for Xbox 360/PC, Gear of War 1 DISC and digital download.

    PC for Xbox and Xbox for PC game

    If it is a Play Anywhere title then yes, you can download it and play on both Xbox and PC for nothing but if it is not a Play Anywhere title game then you would have to buy it twice, once for PC and once for Xbox.
