Problem downloading a free Gold game

Hello.

So I tried to download a game called "MX vs ATV Alive" for free, because it was available for free for Gold members.

Well... Xbox Live had problems with downloading stuff. I couldn't download it. It just said something like "Xbox Live cannot do that now" or something.

Now, after 3 days, the game has changed, and the game I wanted now costs 40€.

So, because of Xbox Live I couldn't download the game for free, and now I would need to pay 40€.

So I would like to Xbox (or Microsoft whatever ) to fund it, like give it to me, because I couldn't download it because of them.

I have already tweeted about this to Xboxsupport, but no respond yet.

I hope Xbox will fund it somehow.

I cant get my xbox live game with gold for free it says : this item isn't avalible from your current location.

UK here too, and no problem downloading the games for gold free titles.

Free games with Xbox Live Gold - problem

Hello. I have a problem with download free games on Xbox One. I have Xbox live Gold ( I can play multiplayer on Destiny and Call of Duty AW) but I can't downloading free games. When I click on downloading Volgarr Viking or Worms Battlegrounds Xbox show me
Subscription on 12 or 1 month with prices. One month ego I can downloading free games like a Warframe, Crimson Dragon, Chariot, Project Spark and now I can play in this games. My Xbox is home console. Someone know whats the problem?

Sorry to say but it's highly doubtfull you will get given the game for free now.

As stated in the ToC,Microsoft aren't liable when there's a disruption in the live service so the chance of you getting the game for free now are zero

If you had tried to download the game during the outage then it should be in your Download History. Head to Settings>Accounts>Download History to see if you can start it from there.

In addition to the above, in the future you can usually get the game from xbox.com and download it to your console later, even if purchases are down on the console.

That would be the problem. Trials don't change your account status to gold. A full gold subscription is required in order to download the 360 games with gold games. Xbox One games with gold games required a gold subscription to keep playing them for free,
so they can be downloaded with a trial.

Download wont even start for me. It is this month's free game with gold. It is the 16th here. Wont let me start the download. Keeps asking for credit card even though it says free. I'm a gold member not sure what the problem is. Maybe to early? But
shows the game in the search engine and says free.
