Problem download movies

I've found the issue with this movie. If you delete the partial download, then re-download it you will then get the full movie. Apologies for the problems.

I am having the same issue with some movies. I can stream them fine, but when I try to download them it says "Download failed. Failed to acquire license for download". I had previously downloaded the movies no problem, but I got an update for Xbox Video
a few days ago and the downloaded movies would not play. I deleted and re-installed the video player and now I get the error every time I try to download movies. I tried the suggestion above and it did not make a difference.

Hi, I had a similar problem. Seems my hard disk had a problem and caused the download to stop. I cannot restart the download, neither from history nor elsewhere. I can only buy the movie, but had it for rental. Could it be that it has been removed from movies
for rental while I was downloading it? This would be really mean.

I was fairly certain I had uninstalled the extender, but did so again to be sure. It now plays for about 30 seconds at a time (or not at all). When playing movies from the "Movies" folder, WMC shows artwork if I have it downloaded into the specific movie
folder (but does not show any movie details). I am playing through a wireless setup, but that was never problem for Linksys. Also, I can play a movie directly to the Xbox using Xbox Video from my PC wirelessly without any problem -- so I doubt it is a bandwidth
problem. (In addition, the WMC tuning shows full HD signal.)

Hmm, OK the weird thing is that code generally means the rental window has expired. But if it was just rented on what- Friday? And You haven't been able to start the movie at all yet, it doesn't sound like it should be expired. Please redownload the profile
and give it another shot.

If it's still not behaving itself, can you let us know what movie it is? We'll do a bit more poking around!
