    I need help to connect my elite control to the xbox one, since I've been doing the steps that indicate but nothing, it only works with the usb connected to the xbox, I've also been calling xbox technical support here in Mexico but they do not answer, I NEED
    HELP it's only been 35 days since I bought it again and I can not use it wirelessly

    Q's about Xbox controller / batteries and recharging

    If we place other brand AA rechargeable batteries (NiMh) in the xbox one controller (regular or elite) and if we connect the USB cable to the controller Will it recharge the batteries?

    If there is no batteries in the controller and you connect controllers/usb cable to the Xbox or any other power source will the controller work as if it's a wired controller?

    Is there a difference between the Bluetooth on the Elite and the one on the regular Xbox one controllers. My other controllers connect without an issue, but not the Elite.

    Yes in this moment i have it connected by USB cable if I can connect it and my PC detects it. But I want it connected without using the usb cable. It's a pretty expensive control that buys it with a lot of effort. And I do not know why a normal control detects it without problem and the Elite does not work.
    And regarding your other question, my elite control does not have any connection problem with my xbox one s

    I have the same problem, when I try to use the xbox one app it says "please connect an elite controller" even though I am using my elite controller to navigate the UI.

    Hi Neecko92,

    Seems like the only workaround now is to connect your Elite controller to a Xbox One console, and update your Elite controller via the Xbox One console. Then it will work on your PC again.
