Problem cancelling auto-payment & complaints related to it

I'm trying to cancel my xBox Gold auto-payment, but the Subscriptions screen on my account doesn't show that option - it seems to think I don't have Gold. I find it ridiculous and rather dishonest that this option cannot be done through my console; making
it difficult to stop giving you money is Not Cool. The 'contact us' section of the website is also very poor - when entering the problem I have it just links me back to the page I've already tried with no "that doesn't work" option. The lack of an email contact
section is very odd - why do you have a Twitter link and no email? I think you're trying to make this difficult, and that's very poor customer service.

There is a mobile phone number attached to my account which is correct. I want a member of your support staff to call me on that number within the next two working days to resolve this issue. No ifs, buts, maybes or online chat malarkey, just some actual
contact to resolve an issue that shouldn't even be an issue. Canceling any service should be an easy thing to do, and in this case should be possible through my game console.

Cancelling Auto Payments

Hi,

I have tried to cancel my auto renewal for xbox live Gold, and xbox music pass. Now it let me stop the music pass, but it would not let me stop my xbox live membership. Has anyone else had this issue, and how do I cancel it?

Hey there, have you tried cancelling your Xbox Live Gold auto-renewal from the "My Account" page here on Xbox.com? If that doesn't work out for you, you can give Xbox Support a
ring. Their phone number in Canada and the USA is 1-800-469-9269. Contact methods can be found following the link
here for your region.

Its showing as your account as silver but you can contact support via the top of the page and web chat failing that you can call 0800 587 1102 a free call from a landline

Technically you can have the bank cancel it, but you will run into the same issue you had last time. Even if it's cancelled through your bank, auto-renewal would still be turned on so Microsoft would still try to charge your account. Then after a while they
will suspend your account until you pay off the balance you would accrue so if you wanted to use the account as gold again, you would have to pay off that balance first.

Quick question, can i go into my bank and cancal it? Im a lil worried about this tho, in the past microsoft gave me live and didn't charge me for it. after a few weeks they banned me and said they won't unban till i update payment options and gave them money
for the service i didn't want. (this was years ago and with diffrent account).

I appreciate your help but that phone call is going to be very expensive for me.

Okay thank you for your help, i will see my freind on the weekend and try and use her mobile, it shouldn't charge her to ring microsoft. (only just thought of that)
