    Problem by getting xbox 360 Gold games on Xbox one


    Hi,

    I just got Xbox Live Gold Membership and I paid it with my paypal account on xbox one. I can now download xbox one free games but when I try to get the xbox 360 game ( Dragon Age 2 ) , I get this message :

    “This purchase channel requires a billing account. Please add a valid payment instrument.”

    but I have already a PayPal account and I paid my Gold membership with it. Problem by getting xbox 360 Gold games on Xbox one :(

    ( I have tried to get the game from xbox.com website and I guess there is a problem with Country/Region. Because I live in Germany and my Region and Language in my account is Germany but after getting that message it changes to en-GB.)

    any idea, how to fix that problem?

    Cannot purchase "free" 360 games on Xbox one or Xbox.com

    It has always been like that not unless there will be an update regarding in redeeming Xbox 360 games with gold on the website. Xbox 360 marketplace has a different structure than on Xbox One Store. Xbox 360 games with gold on the website will need a payment
    method. In Xbox 360 console, you won't need one. Currently, you can't redeem Xbox 360 games with gold using Xbox One console and still under progress about redeeming Xbox 360 games with gold on Xbox One console. Either get the games using an Xbox 360 console,
    or get the games on the website with a payment method.

    My account on my xbox one is a child account too and I am having the same problem. I have an xbox one with xbox gold subscription. I do not have access to an xbox 360 so how can I get the free xbox 360 games with gold on my xbox one? I don't have any problem
    getting the xbox one games, just the backward compatible 360 games. the message tells me to complete the transaction on my xbox regardless of whether I am on my xbox already or on xbox.com on my laptop. Help please! we want the 'free' games that we payed our
    subscription fees for! :)

    The only problem OUgroundGAME is you have to be logged in for others to get gold on that second xbox. So you cannot be logged in at the same time on the first xbox one and second xbox one. This also does not include xbox 360...the gold sharing does not
    work on the 360.

    When Xbox games with gold existed u get Xbox 360 games free and Xbox one games free. The Xbox one games u claim for free are only free with a gold subscription when it was gold. Now it's gamepass core. But when Xbox games with gold was a thing the Xbox 360 games u get for free are permanent. But Xbox one games are not. U have to keep ur gamepass core to have access to your free to play Xbox one games with gamepass core that u claimed with gold back then.

    If you do get an Xbox Live Gold membership for your Xbox 360 don't forget each month to redeem the Games WIth Gold games for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, this way if you do purchase an Xbox One at a later stage as long as you still have an active Gold
    subscription the Xbox One games will be available for you to download and play in addition to the Xbox 360 games.
