    Problem buying with microsoft currency


    Hello, so I have a Problem buying with microsoft currency, and i will explain how.

    So i have 5 euros in my microsoft balance and i want to buy Fortnite Starter pack which costs 4.99 euros i click buy and it shows buy with credit or debit card and paypal, but there is no option to buy with microsoft currency. I've tried buy it on Xbox ,
    microsoft online and nothing helps. Please help.

    So Angel, do you have an exact reason why Microsoft doesn't support buying gold with it's own currency?

    Problem with currency

    It sounds like you might be looking at the US marketplace. Also, if this is on the web, currency is not currently supported by the Marketplace website, so please try doing this from the console, where the prices should show in the correct currency.

    Okay but why? It's been a year since they switched points to currency. They have no problem taking my credit card but Microsoft currency I actually purchased can't be used. So basically I shouldn't buy xbox cards anymore.

    Hi. I had the same issue and found that if you select the option to Buy With Microsoft Points instead of currency then it will download without any problems.

    Can I buy music with the currency in my Microsoft account?
    Beginning Holiday 2013, you will be able to use the currency in your Microsoft account to sign up for an Xbox Music Pass on Xbox One. Dates and availability of music for purchase varies by device and region.

    This is because at the present time currency cannot be used to purchase a subscription with the exception of the Music Pass on Xbox One. This is stated in their

    Can I buy music with the currency in my Microsoft account?

    The wording "at this time" makes we wonder if they will allow it in the future though, but as it stands now this is why you can't use the currency to purchase the subscription.
