    Hi i have recently bought cod bo1 for my xbox one because it was backwards compatible.

    I am having problems buying dlcs for it. it allways tell me this: Sorry

    I don't have a credit card, is there any other way to purchase DLCs for my xbox one games? Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

    You can purchase a prepaid Xbox gift card and use that to add money to your account for purchases.

    If you have an dlc for an back compat 360 game it will work on the xbox one aswell. If you buy a dlc for an xbox one game it will not work.

    But I don't have a xbox 360. I'm trying to buy in the xbox one or the microsoft store.

    Today I bought a dlc for a xbox one without any problem. It only happens with games with retro compatible games.

    If the DLC is for the Xbox One version of the game, then no, you can't use that DLC on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

    For example, Assassins Creed IV Black Flag is a Backwards Compatible Xbox 360 game that works on the Xbox One. However, if you buy Xbox One DLC, then this will NOT work on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

    But if you get the Xbox 360 DLC content for a Backwards Compatible game, the DLC will work on the emulated Xbox 360 on Xbox One.

    There is a problem that some DLCs are not available on Xbox ONE for Xbox 360 games. I do not understand why backwards compatibility is so why DLC is not available. But it's a few games.
