    Problem answering Skype calls on Xbox One.


    To answer a Skype call I hold the button to bring up the notifications _ here the problem, Notifications keep popping up, seems like on for ever ring tone. 4 in all for each call. I can't get it answered, no matter which one I select.

    This now happens on my brothers Xbox one too. I worked correctly when it first came to Xbox One, then an update broke it.

    Can't answer calls on skype while playing in a different app

    Same problem here. My Xbox switches to Skype while answering the call but it hangs on the Blue screen for a long time but never connects. It eventually goes to that contact's info screen where I can call them back with no problem.

    Same issue for me.

    Playing game/watching movie.

    Skype call pops up.

    I say "xbox answer".

    Skype loads and takes me to the callers profile screen.

    I then have to select answer with video to connect to the call.

    I assume saying "xbox answer" should just load skype and connect me in one smooth flow, right?

    I'm having this exact same issue as well. Watching TV or playing game, someone skype calls me and I say "Xbox Answer". Xbox recognizes the phrase and launches Skype, but never answers the call. I then call back.

    This is not an xbox one issue this is a skype app issue you do not need to hard reset your xbox ones this again is an skype app issue skype is having problems i called tec support and there aware of the problem. Again a skype app issue. Not an xbox one issue.

    Have you tried rebooting the Xbox?

    Another option for a possible fix is to uninstall and reinstall Skype.
