    Problem after April 2015 update - TV/XBOX does not recognize the HDMI port


    Hi, after I updated my xbox one - april 2015 - I played normally and turned off the console.

    Today I turned on the XBOX and the TV does not recognize the HDMI port, when I click in the remote control doesn't show the right HDMI port on the TV to select, just my cable TV, the console it's on but nothing on TV.

    I tried to change de cable, change the HDMI port and nothing, unplug all cable, reset the console.

    Someone can help me please.

    Xbox one no longer recognizes my HDMI on my TV

    I'm having the same problem. My TV is not recognizing the xbox one thru hdmi but it recognizes the cable box and computer. I've tried different hdmi ports on different TVs, it's not working properly. Somehow the xbox one can still turn on and off the TV.

    No video or Audio using HDMI

    Been using the Xbox on a Toshiba flat screen TV for over a month, and working with no issue.Then a couple of days ago, it just stopped. We tried switching out HDMI cables with the one we use for our Cable box, the TV still does not recognize a source.
    Plugged the Cable box in to the exact same HDMI port, and the TV recognizes the Cable box as a source. We were able to get the Xbox to work with an HDMI cable on a Samsung TV, but the Toshiba is the bigger screen with the better picture.

    Hi!

    The problem may be caused by a broken HDMI cable, or the TV's HDMI port. First try connecting the cable to a different HDMI port on the TV. If it does not work, try replacing the console cable.

    ok, I‘ll try HDMI 1 port; however I tried again with another tv and the problem does not occur. So the problem is 4K TV. I will also try to turn on the console first and after a few seconds the TV.

    I had the same issue but on my Xbox 1s, I tried resetting tv and the Xbox but nothing worked, however I tried changing the ports and it turned out the Xbox wasn't plugged into the correct HDMI port, so if you haven't already, try plugging in the cable to different HDMI ports to see if that's the problem, both for the TV and the Xbox. I don't know if this will help you, but for me I just had the cable plugged into the wrong port, which is why my TV didn't recognize if my Xbox was on or off.

    Does other stuff work on that HDMI port on your TV? Also, be sure you got the cable in the HDMI out port on the Xbox as there is a port for input that wouldn't work for connecting to the TV
