problem adding friends

I'm sending a friend request to a friend of mine and on his part its showing him we are friends and on my part its telling me "Friend request pending"

we can send messages back and forth but thats it we cannot play against each other

Any help appreciated !!

Adding friends problem

when i try and add friends i get the "cant save your changes right now, try again later" notification. It says the same thing on my xbox app also. Friends list space isnt an issue so im not sure if this is just me or if it is a known problem.

Also i found a post from 2y ago of this exact thing so im hoping that same problem then is happening now so it can be fixed.

Are you able to find these people on Xbox.com (
http://xbox.com/ )? If you can I would recommend turning off your Xbox and holding the power button for 5-sec. this will clear the system catch. If the problem still accrues please re-download your profile.

I have two further solutions you could try. It might be the resolution. After you have followed these steps to clearing the system cache, unplug your power supply/adapter and leave it for 30 seconds. and then reconnect the power supply. Give it a try after
that,at this point anything is worth a try

At a very last resort you could try re-downloading your profile after those steps have been completed.

Let me know how you get on!

Clear the system cache

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.

2. Select Storage or Memory.

3. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.

(It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)

4. Select Clear System Cache.

5. When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes
