    Problem accesing child profile after removing it from family


    I removed a child account from my family on the microsoft site so my son could purchase things freely and the xbox crashed and now when we go to load his profile it just sits on a green loading symbol with a black back ground endlessly and dosent let him
    sign in because that is al it is all of the other profiles work fine but it is just his. also we dont know his email because we forgot it but know his password so we cant re add the profile to the family what do we do please help us

    changing my master account

    Hi there. Best that I could advice right now is to remove the child account from the family on this link below.

    account.microsoft.com/family

    After removing it, create a brand new Parent account and add the child account on it.

    This should resolve your issue. Problem accesing child profile after removing it from family :)

    You were right thinking to reload the profile after removing it.

    First, try rebooting the console holding the power button 10 seconds.

    If it still is an issue. go to account.microsoft.com to try and recover the password. The website sometimes works better.

    I'll monitor your status feel free to ask away.

    I'm sorry you have this problem, researching on the internet I was able to find that in the forum, the independent advisor Geri M, recommends the following steps for a solution.

    It sounds like you are having trouble removing a child from a family group and at the same time you as the organizer.

    Let us check this together and resolve it to help your concern.

    To remove a child from a family group, you must:

    Click Manage my child's profile information and find your family member.

    Select Remove consent for this child's account.

    Return to the family group.

    Click More options below the family member you want to remove from your family group.

    Select Remove from family group > Remove.

    Only family group organizers can remove family members. Leave the family group or remove members - Microsoft Support.

    WHERE IS THE "Manage this child's access to third-party apps"?????

    To remove consent from a family member’s account:

    Visit family.microsoft.com and sign into your Microsoft account.

    Scroll down and select Manage my child’s profile info.

    Find your family member and select Remove consent for this child’s account.

    Then, try to remove and add him again to your family group, please.
