Prob with joining Xbox

when i turn on my xbox one it tells me to turn it off and wait a minute.but if that does not work showing error code 0xd0000189

does

any one know how to get it to work

controller wont work even though it is switchEd on

Hello! I would try doing a power cycle restart on your console and this can be done by:

1. holding down your power button on your console for 10 seconds (or when it turns off completely)

2. Turn it back on

If this doesn't work follow these steps:

1. Go to your settings on your Xbox

2. Go to "Advanced settings"

3. Then go to "Network settings"

4. Clear the alternative MAC address

Ditto - only prob is i cant host games only join them any help would be awesome.

they added the option to join random waves in gears 2 so the prob will do it in gears 3 but at the moment u can only join friends games which i often do
