PRIVACY Suggestion - Messages≠Voice

Split up Messages and Voice chat in privacy options.

For example I would like to block all messages from non-friends.. while being able to use voice chat with my match-made team in Halo.

Currently they are grouped together so if you want chat you must accept messages.

It is important since I often get mildly harassed by "bait" messages then reported for any reply that I make.

This isn't about bans or behavior, this is about having independent Privacy options for both Messages and Voice chat.

Privacy and Online safety issue.

Please would you be so kind to forward this to someone with access to the Dev team?

I am unhappy with online gameng

My suggestion is to change your privacy and online settings so communications (voice and text) are set to Friends Only. Filters out all of the crap.

mic not working

so as of right now im trying to get my Turtle Beach XL1 Ear force headset to work on my xbox 360 250gb slim and i manage to hook it up i can hear the game and voice volume, but whenever i tried to speak into my mic it doesn't pick up my voice i even tested
it in messages

i already made sure i enabled all the settings in privacy that could disable me from talking any suggestions?

Yes, there should be a split in the options between voices messages and text messages on Xbox One. I like being able to send and receive text messages between all people, but don’t like getting voice messages from angry kids. I should be able to have the
ability to send text messages to all, but not be able to send or receive voice messages or at least only to friends.

For the second option I can’t find communicate with voice and text

I went to settings>privacy and online safety after that it says

Xbox privacy-app privacy-message privacy and -data collection

I click Xbox privacy> all my setting here look good but I don’t see communicate with voice and text

Adjust your privacy settings. If a player is harassing you by leaving voice or text messages, adjust your privacy settings so that only the people you have added to your "Friends" list can contact you. Select your gamertag. Go to “Edit Profile,” then select
“Privacy Settings.” Select “Voice and Text” from the list and change the setting to “Friends Only.”

After that report the user(s).

Hm, me too. Good thing I didn't read it. I would suggest going into your Privacy Settings and changing the Voice and Text to "Friends Only."
