    Privacy settings preveting chat


    When ever I join a party I can't talk or hear anyone. I get this message "your privacy settings prevent chat with some people". When I got into my settings the setting is set for everyone, so I don't understand the issue. Please help me, thanks.

    So, an account my friend uses on my xbox has been banned, and now i can't talk on mine. For some reason when i sign in and go to a party It will say "Your privacy settings prevent chat with some people" Thing is, when i check my privacy settings everything
    is set up for me to be able to talk to everyone. I've checked Xbox Enforcement to see if I got banned, but im not! Please help, I want to play Chronicles before I leave for vacation.

    Sorry to hear about the issue. There were some Xbox Live Core Service issues yesterday that affected party chat and messaging. We believe those issues to be resolved at this point.

    Turns out the problem wasn't his privacy settings. I decided to have a look through his messages, turns out Xbox had banned his communications, but cheers anyway dude
