Privacy settings not saving

Hi, I have two accounts on my Xbox and I recently changed my privacy settings on this account. I blocked my name on my profile but when I sign in on my other account and view the profile, my name keeps appearing. This is very frustrating and was wondering
if this is a bug that'll hopefully get fixed. My privacy settings will not save.

Privacy setting not saving and not displaying error

Every time I check the allow check box for Purchasing option under "xbox 360 online safety" of a child account, the window spins like it is saving, refreshes the page and unchecks the box. No error message is displayed. On the child's window's account under
"Need adult approval to buy things" is turned off. I have two children under my account and was able to save the purchasing change for one child but not the other. They are twins and have all of the exact same settings for both windows and xbox account.

Upload Studio Clip Approval Time

Are your privacy settings set to strict or anything? If so, it might be preventing you from saving your clips or sharing them.

Hey MissT!

Are you trying to change the settings on your Xbox One console or via Xbox.com? If you're trying on your console, try clicking your name in the top right here, and select "Xbox Settings." You should be able to alter your settings to your desired options
here and then save them again.

If that doesn't work, try resetting your privacy settings to default and then re-setting them as desired. That should help.

The save does not work when i set it to the defaults of child, teen, adult, etc. If I select teen and save and exit, when I return the settings are set to custom as if the save did not take effect.

I have this same issue, especially in the last example. I can save settings easily and consistently on both the Xbox 360 and the One, but I want to be able to change them from the website. It used to work consistently up until a couple of days ago, and
I can make one change and it won't save. I don't know what the difference is from the past. I had someone on the phone from support, and they had no suggestions, either.

ok if you edit a privacy setting it is going to be custom no matter what, have you gone here?:

account.xbox.com/Settings

(for xbox 360)

and try editing it from there and see if it will work?
