Privacy for online multiplayer

Hi,

I have been playing minecraft online with my friends for a couple months. The other day I tried to play and it said that the way my account is configured does not allow multiplayer. I made sure everything was on everybody and allow in my privacy settings.
I still am unable to play online with my friends because it still says my account is set up incorrectly. I have not changed anything in my setting and was playing fine, so how come I am not allowed to play now? Also I cannot get and real person to help me
at microsoft. I tried contact us a million times and when I was finally able to call it was just an automated response that told me to figure out help online so..

So you have checked all your settings and they are correct, ok let try this,

Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will power down. turn the power off at the wall, unplug the cord from the back wait 30 seconds, plug
back in, switch back on the wall socket
Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

It may be privacy settings go to settings - account - privacy and online safety - xbox live privacy - custom - view details & customise - communication & multiplayer - you can join multiplayer games - allow

In the settings of your world, did you allow multiplayer?

Also, do your online and privacy settings allow Multiplayer (you can check that at
https://account.xbox.com/settings). Also your friends also need to have Multiplayer allowed in their online and privacy settings, and they need to be able to see creations of other
users.
