PrintScreen turns screen black

Is this happening with all your games?
If you try to do an screenshot using the Windows key+Shift+S shortcut, it works?
And, what procedures you tried to fix this?

Meanwhile, please check if your system and all the apps related to gaming are up to date.
You can check for windows updates via PC Settings > Update & Security > Windows update > get updates
And you can check for app updates opening the Microsoft store

May I know when you started to experience this, do you know if your system or program received a new update before this?

Meanwhile, please try each possible solution below:

1. Open task manager and go to the startup tab, once there click "disable" on each app listed there
After that Restart the PC and see if the problem is solved

Thank you for reaching out and trying to solve this problem with me.

To answer your questions, I'm using the Windows 11 Home edition (version 22H2). It cannot be an update issue since I have no option to do so. This black screen pops up no matter what shortcut for screenshotting I use, I've tried numerous methods to do so. And lastly I haven't done much in settings in fear of making the situation worse.

Hello Daniel, With the game bar active, you have a button with a symbol of a camera, it will capture a snapshot of the screen.

In fact it is just a shortcut from the native Windows screenshot, it can be activated with the commands Windows + Alt + PrintScreen, and on some PC's with Function + PrintScreen

No it does not turn the screen black but one time I was playing fortnite and then suddenly my screen turned black and I had to turn of my xbox. P.S. I liked your joke!
