Primary alias and xbox display email are different?

Please verify if the email address you see on your console appears linked to the Microsoft account you’re referring to:

If no track of this other email appears there, this means you actually have two Microsoft accounts.
However, I would like to confirm if are you able to sign in to the same Microsoft account and see the same order history no matter which email you use to sign in?

Unfortunately, there is no possible way to link same Gamertag to a different account email. the closest to that is what you mentioned, adding another email as alias and make that alias as primary signing email.

I can interpret what you are saying several different ways. Please let me know which one is correct:



Interpretation A: Games are linked to the email address it was purchased under, meaning the ‘then’ primary alias of the Microsoft Account, but not the Microsoft Account itself. But, If that email is no longer the primary alias, the games will be linked through the new primary alias email.



Interpretation B: Games are linked to the Microsoft Account and can be accessed by the aliases on the Microsoft Account.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you are interested in learning how you can move an Xbox profile from one Microsoft account to another. At the moment, this feature is not available for Microsoft account. The only option is
to change the primary email address(primary alias) of the Microsoft account that has your Xbox profile. The account owner must

change the primary alias of the account that has your Xbox profile to the intended email address. The account owner can then use the previous email address by adding it as a primary alias to a different Microsoft account. However, If you remove an alias
that's an email address from a Microsoft domain (like @hotmail.com, @live.com, @outlook.com, or @msn.com), you're permanently deleting the alias and it can't be associated with any Microsoft account again. We hope this information helps AlanMacielBR!

"After you add the new email address, you need to set it as your primary alias to have it displayed when you sign in to all devices and services. Here's how:

On the Manage your account aliases page, select Make primary under the email address you want as primary under Account alias."
