    Price of a game I had pre-ordered is shown instead of the date it was bought


    I had pre-ordered Overwatch before release. But if I look it up on the store now, it doesn't show the date it was bought, but instead the price to buy it again. This is on xbox.com.

    If I check the store on the console, it shows the button to play the game, obviously because it is installed right now. I am too afraid to delete the game to test it.

    I have experienced the same problem with game bundles, that either contain multiple games or game and DLC.

    pre order 15k rewards

    I pre ordered Halo Wars 2, Ghost Recon Wildlands, and Mass Effect Andromeda but it is only showing I pre ordered one on the punch card symbols for the 15,000 rewards. It also shows the incorrect release date for Wildlands; saying the 5th instead of the 7th
    and I pre ordered today the 6th.

    pre order doesn't seem to be shown as pre ordered.

    So I pre ordered an edition of SW BF2 and I installed the game bundled with it but the edition I pre ordered doesn't show up as pre ordered (shows the price and says pre order) this is also the first time I pre ordered a game so sorry in advanced if this
    is normal.

    After contacting almost every support entity for Xbox and lots of testing on my side, I've come to the conclusion that this unfortunately is not a bug, but rather "works as designed". Unless all the friends I've asked to check, have the same bug.

    This, to be honest, is a horrible design flaw. Because it should never be possible to digitally buy the same game multiple times.

    I bought from Microsoft store and there policy states that they only charge when the item is shipped here is the exact quote from Microsoft store site

    If you pre order a game you'll get the game on the release date with some bonus dlc you won't be charged extra you just pay the price you bought it for
