Prey, the first trailer...

and it looks....okay. Thoughts?

Has anybody seen the new trailer for Prey 2 on Kotaku. If you haven't it's pretty awesome.

The trailer itself looks interesting, but I refuse to support it. Doesn't deserve the Prey name.

 

I think they said they wanted to redesign the game the way they envision it now, rather than it being a copy and paste from before or even a sequel.

But i am curious about this one. It's on the watch list for sure.

 

It's nice that they simply didn't try to "remaster" the last one.

Will be nice to play something new.

 

Oh boy, looks like a stinker. Yawn.

Too bad they dropped the bounty hunter among aliens version. The cancled one looked 100 times better.

To early to really judge this one but the previous "bounty hunter" one looked good.

 

This looks really really good, I love a good single player game and this looks right up my street, can't wait

This one looks cool but it seems to be Bioshock with aliens or XCOM FPS.

Right now,not my most wanted game,but will see.

 

Seems a bit Dead Spacey to me, but the sort of game I would pick up and play through.

 

Oh no, I agree with both of you. Its seems like it's just trying too hard to be a "I'm cool sci-fi stuff".

 

Personally, I have no desire to waste my time buying that game. Prey 2 looked far more interesting than that "spiritual sequel of System Shock".

 

They apparently showed a bit of gameplay behind closed doors at Quakecon. I watched a view of journalists giving their impressions of what they saw. Quite frankly, the more I hear about this game, the more interested I am. Then I remember that the studio
behind this iteration of Prey is the studio behind the fantastic Dishonored and that peaks my interest even more.

I am just waiting to see rock solid gameplay before passing any judgement whatsoever. But as of right now, chalk me up as highly interested.

 

It's definitely giving me a Pandorum/Dead Space vibe.

To be honest, these single player games that Bethesda publish (Wolfenstein and Dishonoured) haven't let me down yet so I would definitely be keeping an eye on this one!

 

This developer made Dishonored? Nice! That game was amazing. It had a great atmosphere.
