Have to say this looks rather interesting.

It's made by a 3 person team so will have to see how it pans out but certainly keeping an eye on this.

Prey for the Gods Spirtual Successor to Shadow of the Colossus (XB1) TBA

Prey For the Gods, a spiritual successor to the popular PS2 game Shadow of the Colossus has been fully funded on Kickstarter. As well as Shadow of the Colossus the game claims to combine gameplay elements from games like DayZ, Deus Ex, and BloodBorne.

Despite already being fully funded, the team at No Matter Studios hope to push through some stretch goals with the help of a 12 hour Twitch stream tomorrow.

The Kickstarter blurb reads as follows:

“In Prey for the Gods, you play a lone hero sent to the edge of a dying world to discover the mystery behind a never-ending winter. Arriving with only the clothes on your back, you must survive the colossal dangers that you encounter. To restore balance and reclaim the land from the brink, you will be faced with questions that not even a God knows the answer to.”

Prey For the Gods will release on PC first, with Xbox One and PS4 following shortly after.

Wow I hope it's good.

The site keeps trying to stuff that "No Man's Sky" add down my throat so I've not looked at it.

It was all working fine (and I'm on that site too) but for some reason when I hit the video link it would not stop playing that add!

I always thought it would be cool to see "Skyrim" presented through the iD Tech 5 engine and I expect the end result would not be too different from this.

One to keep an eye on for sure.

 

I have moments on that site when it just shoves ad's down my throat as well.

Been ok lately though.

 

I saw this a week ago but had no idea what it was or that it came from 3 people. If they can pull off snow and windy trees like what is shown that will put any snow in any Game prior to shame. Very cool, I hope it turns out well
for them.
