Previously played games on gamepass PC cannot run

I've been trying to run some games that I stopped midway through the last time my subscription expired, now that I have it again, I can open the games but can't get pass the title screen since the sign in pop-up doesn't work. I'm facing this problem for dishonored 2 and nier.

Any ideas how to fix this? Other newer games do work, it's just the games that I started from the last time I used gamepass.

I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the games, it does not work.

So, let's try this, first, make sure your windows and all its services are up to date:

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services.

Then try this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

Then do the same for the Xbox app:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

If it still doesn't work you're going to uninstall the games services using a powershell command, then you're going to open the gamepass app, it will ask you to download and install the game services again :

In the windows search bar type Powershell > Right click and select open as administrator > Type the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers" > Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC, then open your Xbox gamepass app, it will ask you to install the gaming services again, install it and try again.

If neither of those procedures works, try to restore your PC's OS via the ISO image tool, using that tool you will be able to maintain your installed games and files.

First check if the games are still in Game Pass https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-game-pass/games

If they are, then uninstall them and reinstall from Game Pass, that should clear the error.

i took it as he wants to play the game on pc via gamepass ultimate not stream it. yes to streaming from console to pc but whats the point of that when he has a console to play it on and it would run like trash streaming.

the game is not available on pc therefore cannot download it via gamepass ultimate from ea desktop app either.

Got you....seems we read it differently. I read it as the OP wanting to stream it from their console to their PC as they have GPU but whether it was possible as the game is an EA Play title
