Previous update disrupted chat on Xbox 360 interface and Backwards compatible games.

You do not have to be playing the same game, just any Backward Compatible game so the 360 interface loads. Press the View and Menu buttons on the Xbox One controller to open the 360 guide, and you can start a party chat from there. You could suggest/vote

Xbox 360 operates on a different system, and unless it is a game that is backwards compatible, cannot chat with other platforms

The Xbox 360 can only play Backward Compatible games if it has an official Xbox 360 hard drive installed, and the game is listed on here If your Xbox 360 needs an update, then just connect the console to Xbox live, and the console will automatically check for the update and ask you to download it. If it does not, then your console probably already has it, and the game you want to play is not backward compatible.

That game is not on the list of backward compatible games and will not be added. Microsoft stopped updating the original Xbox backwards compatibility on the 360 several years ago. The only way to play that game is on an original Xbox console.

So....do I have to be playing the same (backwards compatible) game as them or can I just play any (Backwards compatible) game I wish and open the 360 UI that way? Further more why not work the 360 UI chat system into the Xbox one system?
