    Previous Games With Gold Games Not Working With Active Gold Account


    So I've had a valid Xbox live subscription for years now, I double checked before posting and it is currently active. I was trying to show a game I had to my girlfriend, Rayman Legends, when I clicked it to load it up it takes me to the App Store and it
    says "This product is installed" and it also says "You can play this for now or buy it to own forever" and when I click on play it just refreshes that same page. It is doing this with multiple different games with gold games I have downloaded but all of them.
    I've tried signing out and back in, I tried turning the system off and on and tried pulling the power cord after it shut down and nothing I have done so far has worked. I was under the impression that as long as you had a gold account any game you download
    can be played any time so I'm not sure what is going on. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Download game from games with gold

    Hello eliyosef,

    In order to download and enjoy Games with Gold, you will need an active Gold Account. From the looks of it here on the forums, you do not have an active Gold subscription. Make sure you have Xbox Live on the account trying to download and play the Games
    with Gold titles.

    Free games attained from the "Games with Gold" program would only stop working if your Gold subscription has expired.

    They are only accessible to play while your Gold subscription is active.

    If you resubscribe to gold the games will be back. They are bound to yor account. All you need for the Xbox One Games with Gold is an active subscription. Only your Xbox 360 Games with Gold will be playable without an active subscription.

    Are you sure the account that has the gold subscrption is the same account that was used to get the games with gold?

    You have to be signed into the same account that had gotten the games with gold with an active gold subscription for them to show up.

    Trials will work with any account that does not have gold. It doesn't matter if you've previous had gold or not.
