    So here's a little backstory on the ban...

    About 5 months ago, my friend, (personally know him) on Xbox live kept spam messaging me "hi" over and over and over again. I got "mad" and replied with a curse word which he then proceeded to report me as a joke. A few days later I found out that I received
    a short two (or one I don't remember) communication ban.

    After the ban ceased, I have not been able to send messages and invite friends to my party. It keeps coming up with an error message. I tried to submit a case review, but there is no button for that and I am practically stuck at this point.

    What can I do to get my communications back on Xbox? The two day ban is still in effect for no reason, and this is starting to get really ridiculous. I'm starting to get fed up; I just spent a lot of money on my membership and I can't even enjoy it with
    friends. If someone would please help me, I'd really appreciate it.

    Hi Kyle,

    Can you check and see if you're able to send messages via Xbox.com or by using the Xbox App (Windows 10, iOS, or Android). Also, can you provide the error code that you receive when you attempt to send messages or party invites please.

    The ban was gone but the effects are still there

    First check the enforcement site to verify that all suspensions are really over: https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US

    If all suspensions are expired, and you are therefore clear, try the following steps:

    1. Remove your account from the Xbox.
    2. Give your Xbox a power cycle.
    3. Add your account back into the Xbox.
    4. Attempt to use the social features now.

    When a console is banned, that ban remains on the console regardless of the owner..The purchaser must assume the risk for any previous modifications. Just like what "iNb4 Ownage" said, Microsoft recommends to purchase new Xbox 360 consoles. Since the console
