Preview Update Changes IP Address Everytime You Reset

Did anyone else who got the preview update have the system change their IP address and Default Gateway every time they reset the system? After getting th update yesterday now every time I turn on my Xbox One I get an IP address that is no the right one so
I would have to manually enter both my IP Address and Default Gateway Address to get onto live. This never happened before the update so I am 100% sure it is no my router/modem. I spoke to someone on the help chat and they told me that the team is aware of
the issue and that I would have to wait for the next update to fix it which sucks because every time I turn on my Xbox One I would have to reenter both address.

xbox one port forward ip address

under my port forwarding options in my router settings, under each port entered, it asks for my xbox's ip address. I look under advanced settings in my network settings on my xbox one and see the ip address there and I enter it next to each port I forward.
However everytime i reset either my xbox or my router, the ip address under network settings changes and now does not match the ip address entered under the router settings for the ports being forwarded.

do I need to assign a static ip address for my xbox one in order for my ports to be kept open?

Static IP address

I have set my xbox up with a static IP address eg 10.1.1.15 however every few weeks it changes IP address automatically and i need to reset it.

What could casue the static IP address to change?

I can't even connect since the update, I have a DNS issue!

it would be handy if they put a stolen mode in the settings that the user can enable or disable.

something along the lines of everytime the consoles IP Address changes your forced to retype in a password.

it would be at least something and not hard to add via an update.

And Btw Visage, you cant use the DNS address of your NIC because its advisable to use manual ip addresses on the Xbox and the Host PC ( You cannot use Automatically assigned IP's because the IP address will change everytime you connect the 3G Modem to the
internet) so the NIC wont have a DNS address once you've configured the IP addresses manually. The DNS address will be found on the Modem itself . And if anyone would like to know how to check the DNS address of the Modem: In Adapter settings Right click on
your Modem and in then click on "Status" and then on "Details" the DNS IP's Will be displayed in there.

Also I changed the name and deleted the app, that also didn't work. I'm manually entering the IP address of the console which changes everytime I hard reset my console. My phone still doesn't see an xbox on the network, or so it says
