Preview update bricked my console?

I've spent almost the whole weekend trying to figure this out with Microsoft support and twitter support. I can't find anything on the net regarding my problems and while support is trying to be helpful(and they are) If somebody tells me to hard reset
or reset my modem again I'm going to scream. I have my 360 hooked up with no problems so its not on my end. The problem I'm pretty sure is the new preview update. I'm stuck on the update error screen can't check network connection. Anything I do other than
going into offline mode boots me right back to the update error page. It's a $500 brick. It's broken and nobody has an answer. Very frustrated.

My Xbox one has received the System Error Code: E200 00000074 00000000

I am in the xbox preview program and the recent cortana update bricked my xbox.

 

The controller update bricked my controller.

Im in the preview and today console update is working for bricked controller!!!!!

 

What error code are you getting if you get one, you are in the preview that's where you should post its about the only place that can help you, PM Miss Portia or one of the other xbox staff as you might need the offline update tool for previewers.

 

Do you have a link? The one twitter support gave me gives the "group not found" message.

The Update error 0x80004002 0x00000000 0x00000200

 

As you have the group not found I will send details to registration support, that can take a couple of days once I hear something I will post here and I will send PM.

If you stuck in this procedure you may want to use the offline system update diagnostic tool to get your Xbox back to work. Whet use this direct link:

The use of the latest displayed version should work for you. You will have to go through some updates after that.

I also am presented a screen where I must update whenever I try to log on to xbox live, but every time I try, it fails. I've tried everything except the offline system update diagnostic tool because my OS version isn't listed. My xbox OS version is 6.2.11499.0

What should I do? I can only currently play offline and my xbox live is steadily running out.

 

If you read carefully the posts above you may use the latest OSUDT version. As 1409 is not available of course because it's in beta state

After that you will be reprompted with the updates. If they fail again please post that problem in the preview forums where it belongs to.

I am having the same issues and my OS version is also 1409. I am going to get a USB drive to do the diagnostic tool, but wanted to also keep reading how this issue was handled by others. Van I be added to the preview forums as well?
