    It took me 7hrs from 6:30am till 1pm to get my Xbox1 to back to operating properly from your update down load. I finally after talking to 4 different customer assistance personal
    that I wound up deleting all content from my Xbox1(doing a complete reset) for it to properly download the content. This is the 2nd time this B/S has happened to me. 1st personal aren't either qualified or are just don't give a crap,
    2nd NO ONE IN CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE CAN HELP ME WITH PREVIEW, what the hell???????? Then the quality of the content is terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please opt me out of the preview program it's to much of a hassle to fix your screw ups. Still
    down loading my games had over 100 of them that had to be deleted because of this again B/S.

    That's no fun, beta testing can be rough, I did that for many years! While our ability to support The preview updates is somewhat limited, hopefully basic troubleshooting will get you back up and running!

    The first thing I want to do is check on the power source for the console! Is your console plugged into a surge protector, extension cord, or power strip?

    Did you already make sure the console was plugged into the wall and then do a factory reset keeping your games and apps?

    can I do a factory reset with out signing in because it wont allow me to sign in unless I do the update and then the same thing happens it locks up the xbox until I disconnect it from all power and let it sit for a minute

    Yes, we will have to go about it slightly differently though, Go ahead and power off the console then we will start it in troubleshooting mode. We will do this by pressing and holding the bind and eject button, then while holding them press and hold the
    power button until you hear two chimes and it starts up, it can take awhile so keep holding all three until the second chime.

    We actually cannot manipulate anything with the preview program, that said though once you opt out your next update will be the normal release update and from there on it will be the release version!

    It could be the update itself, or there could have been a network or power issue that caused a corrupted file fragment, with computers it's often impossible to know for sure. So we just pull rank and reset them lol

    Ok, thanks for clarifying that, screen share would be awesome in these cases. There is one final step, we will do a full factory reset and re download the entire operating system through the preview servers. I would also like to ask you later today if
    you can post on the preview forums reguarding our chat this morning and all of the steps we went through. They need to review your account closely on this matter.

    That's actually the most common solution for update issues, outside of the preview program of course.

    Hello, My account was communications banned 7/25/2017 and was suppose to be lifted 8/15/2017. But, it is not 9/22/2017 and my account still hasn't gotten its communication rights back. I would like to solve this issue please and thank you.

    If you want to leave the Insider program then you need to unenroll via the Insider app.

    The Insider program is nothing to do with support so they are limited in what advice they can give which is why there's a Insider forum
