Preview Team: Help with Messages and Notifications and Party Invites

I have been having some difficulty with Messages, Achievements, Notifications and Party Invites for quite some time. I've contacted support and did the normal, troubleshooting and they sent me over here.

Messages are not loading either on the Xbox One or Computer. It will either say "Unable to Send Message at this time" or it will do nothing but show the infinite swirl.

Achievements will not pop up on the Xbox One, the settings show they should. They will pop up on the computer however.

Notifications will only show up on the computer. Even with the computer powered off they will still not show up on the Xbox One.

Party invites are simply not happening. They will never show up on the Xbox One, will sometimes show up on the computer, which does absolutely no good. I have resorted to other means of communication to be able to start or have parties set to open, which
is a total aggravation.

Screenshots and Gameclips can only be sent to my feed. I cannot send them to another Xbox Live member through Message, I can only theorize that it has something to do with the messaging system issue I'm already having.

Any thoughts? Tips? Tricks? It would be greatly appreciated.

notifications

I receive no notifications no messages no party invites no friends online notifications. all my notifications are unabled and i am in the preview program. but if I hard reset my console than my notifications work again but if I turn my xbox off and on I
have to hard reset again so pls help

Notifications

I'm not getting any notifications e.g.; party and game invites, Xbox live messages, people entering or leaving the party, achievements and friends coming online. I do get notifications when my batteries are low.....

I'm on a preview program build and was redirected here by webcare on twitter.

Software version; 10.0.14393.2117

All notifications have been set to 'on' and doing a power cycle or a power reset does not help

I'm unable to see if you are in the Xbox One Preview, only the Xbox 360 Preview. Being in the 360 preview will not prevent any of this to happen on your Xbox One. Sorry for any miscommunication there.

Are you able to post back with the full details of every troubleshooting step chat or phone support had you walk through? We'd rather not have you go through all the steps again, and there are some steps that are very specific for any messaging issues right
now.

Lastly, you say messages on the computer are not loading. Do you mean on the Xbox App or on the website? Have you tried the other, depending on which one you've done? Give it a shot if you haven't, and let us know the results. Additionally, if you haven't
already, download the Xbox App to your smart phone and let us know how messages are on there.

We'll focus on the messages first. Since that is an issue that is happening across multiple things, and is impeding your ability to send screenshots, it will be the best thing to work on first. Because your achievements are still popping, just not showing
the notification on your console, we'll want to focus on that afterwards.

I'm unable to see if you are in the Xbox One Preview, only the Xbox 360 Preview. Being in the 360 preview will not prevent any of this to happen on your Xbox One. Sorry for any miscommunication there.

Are you able to post back with the full details of every troubleshooting step chat or phone support had you walk through? We'd rather not have you go through all the steps again, and there are some steps that are very specific for any messaging issues right
now.

I am part of the Xbox One Preview according to them. I vaguely remember joining it, but then again, knowing me I probably did .

Chat support had me:

Remove and re-download my profile, clear my Blu-Ray Cache I want to say, take my Xbox back to original settings, and re-setup my wireless network.

Messages are not loading on the Xbox App or Website. It just says "Message Failed to send" Or "try again later" The messages are not being sent or received on any platform. The Smart Phone isn't working correctly either at this time.

I appreciate the details, Bart! Apologies for any miscommunication, however I've been able to confirm with the Insiders team that you are not in the Xbox One preview. Our tools can make them look similar, so I understand how the confusion can be made.

Other than the error message, do you receive any "to find out more, go to..." message? If not, let's have you first
check your "reputation" with Skype. What will happen is it will ask for a phone number, then send a code to that phone to ensure it's real, and once you put the code into the site it will
simply direct you to your account information. After that happens, try sending another message for us.

If that doesn't work, can you please post back with a screenshot of what the error you're getting on xbox.com is? That will help us determine what issue you are running into at this time. Thanks again!

You either need to be invited by the team behind the Preview, by way of Live message, or be invited by a friend already in the Preview, at which point you would be sent for review by the Team and then invited by them.

I'm having the same issue. - I can send and receive messages, but I do not get notifications, party or game invites. I've tried the steps you outline above removal/hard reset/download to no avail. I am not a preview customer to my knowledge. I had notifications
yesterday 6/21/16 but not today. What u got?
