Preview Status - Bitstreaming Audio

I've got quite an expensive home cinema system with Dolby Atmos and DTS-X support on the receiver, however when playing UHD blurays I can't seem to find options to allow the Xbox One S to output bitstream audio to the receiver. I understand that the Insider
builds will allow this feature. Can this be enabled for me please? I am a UWP developer and have Xbox One UWP apps on the Windows Store so am hoping that this would qualify me to be able to receive these updates.

I just tried signing up for the Xbox One Update Preview. I too am looking forward to getting this Bitstreaming Pass-through set-up on my console. How long does it take to go from Pending Status to either Accepted or Declined for the Xbox One Update Preview?

download the insider preview hub app. Once your xbox one is added to the preview program, you can update it. Its in beta but the bitstreamING pass-through works for both blu-ray and 4k blu-ray discs. Dolby Atmos audio playback definitely works on both formats
now. Not sure if DTS:X outputs or not as I haven't tried the one DTS:X movie that I have on the Xbox one.

If you go to your Audio settings are they set up like this...HDMI audio(off)...Optical audio(Bitstream out)...Bitstream format(Dolby Digital)?

I have speaker audio as: HDMI audio - stereo uncompressed; Optical audio - Bitstream out; and Bitstream format - Dolby Digitial. My headset audio is: Headset format - stereo uncompressed.

for audio settings I have hdmi audio as bitstream out and bitstream format as dolby atmos. The sound bar I have is sony top of line unit.

You have to switch the optical audio output to "Bitstream" and then change the Bitstream output to "Dolby Digital".
