Preview Program

Hi, I'm posting my concern in regards to getting into the "Alpha Preview" ring of the Update Preview. I am a 7 year, 47,000 gamerscore XBL vet, and a 2 year member of the Preview Program. I was forced to get a new Xbox One S when my Day One Xbox One died
on me, and therefore my preview data carried over from the old console to the new one. However, I had to "reapply" for preview membership, and was only allowed to apply for Preview Rings 3 and 4. My friend "Genesis Rider" on XBL (over 3000 XP in the preview
program) informed me that he was granted access to the Alpha Ring simply because he was a part of the preview program before it became "Insider Hub". After chatting with two separate XBL support members, I believe that I am eligible and deserving of a spot
in the Alpha Ring, and that an unfortunate set of circumstances prevented me from gaining access to that particular ring. Furthermore, my tenure both as an XBL and Preview Program member, and my commitment to the Xbox brand are strengths that I believe would
suit me well as an Alpha preview member. My Xbox support reference number for my case is 1387428174. Thank you!

Xbox Preview Program

No, there is no preview program invites anymore. Also, that's early access game you can buy it without being in the preview program.

Metalmilitia625 -- are you in the Preview program? I posted this same message in the Preview Program forums, just in case, since I am in the Preview program and there are Preview updates on my console.

 

Posting reference numbers is not allowed on the forums.

There are many deciding factors on who get's chosen for the alpha ring.You can't ask to be put in.

I've been in the preview/insider programme from the very start,been on live for 14 years,10 with this account,have over 400k Gamerscore , provided feedback regularly & had 2 replacement consoles in that time but am in in the beta ring.

Your Gamerscore & years tenure have nothing to do with it anyway.

There's no difference what ring you are in other than some rings get updates a few days earlier than other rings.

If the preview team decide you should go up to the beta & then alpha ring at some point then you will.Just keep filling out surveys,giving feeback,doing quests etc. & it may happen eventually.
