Preview program

Hello! I was just speaking with tine on the Microsoft support chat and they have asked me to post on here because I was invited to the preview program but didn't receive a message on my Xbox one. My gamertag is . Would appreciate any help given.

Xbox Preview Program

No, there is no preview program invites anymore. Also, that's early access game you can buy it without being in the preview program.

You'll have to wait until you are accepted into the program by Microsoft - getting an invite from a friend does not guarantee you'll be accepted. Also, you should know that the preview program is nearly at capacity, so Microsoft has cut back on their acceptance
rates into the program, so you may be waiting for an extended period of time.

 

I was invited. I was told by Microsoft support when I was contacting them about an issue I was having. I have a screen shot of tine from Microsoft support asking me to post on the forums about my invitation. They informed me I WAS invited but I didn't get
the message in my messages on Xbox. Sorry for the confusion. But I was invited

 

Being invited does not guarantee you will be accepted into the program. If you are accepted, you will receive a message on Live. If you're not accepted, you won't receive a message.

 

I guess I am explaining this wrong.

 

Basically, if you haven't received a message on Live, you have no been accepted into the program. Phone and chat support do not handle the preview program sot hey can't see who has been accepted and who hasn't. Also, as Theory stated, the program has been
at capacity for several months, so they've barely been letting anyone else in.

 

Ok. I was already invited by Microsoft... I cannot find the invitation message.. It was probably accidentaly deleted or some how lost.. I need the download link again so I can accept it.. My invitation is currently pending.. I've already talked to Microsoft
about it and they told me to ask on the forum to send me another download link.

Is that easier to understand?

 

If you had been accepted and the message expired, you would have to have a friend invite you again and wait for another message from microsoft. Microsoft does not send invites

 

Aha! That's what we were missing. If you've lost your message to download the Preview Dashboard, you can post here and they can resend it. You must have already received the message once for this to work though.

If you're getting Group Not Found, that means you aren't allowed in the preview program forums. If you really have been accepted in the program, you'll need to ask for access to the forums here:

Either that or both the Microsoft agents I spoke to lied about me being invited when I knew nothing about a preview program at all up till they mentioned it. So I don't know.

 

Phone/chat support are nothing to do with the preview program so often give out misinformation.

They can only tell if you've been invited,not who invited you or if you have been accepted.

Microsoft only invited the first wave of preview members when it started about 8 months ago so if you were invited by them you left it way to long to ask for another invite.

As the others have said,you would need to get a friend already in the program to invite you but you will be waiting for a long time to be accepted,if you are accepted at all.

I was also invited to the program but did not receive any message. I already purchased a game preciew game (Ark)...so im guessing that means i was accepted? But when i try clicking on some of these links it does say "group not found"... any clarification
would be great
