Preview Program

I had a question about this and since I only got my system in November I didn't really look or see if it was possible to sign up. Is the Preview Program only invite this year by people who were in the program last year? I only ask because it says you can
only be invited to someone already in the program and Major Nelson has been giving out codes on his Twitter like they are redeem codes for a game or something. Hopefully the fall program they will open with sign ups if there is one, I used to always sign up
for the 360 Preview Program.

No, there is no preview program invites anymore. Also, that's early access game you can buy it without being in the preview program.

Metalmilitia625 -- are you in the Preview program? I posted this same message in the Preview Program forums, just in case, since I am in the Preview program and there are Preview updates on my console.

 

What should one expect from this preview program on the xbox 360?

I was invited to join and out of curiosity I signed up. What benefits are there for doing something that could potentially damage my xbox? And please don't tell me it's just for the excitement of seeing a new update before the public does, because I don't
know anybody who get's a thrill from a new update on xbox live, and if you do... You need to reevaluate your life.

 

Lol its not about getting the update, use your brain.

Its about evaluating the update and corresponding with the team in charge, to attempt too ensure a smoother experience for the general user once the update releases too the public.

And yes one does need too be invited to the program by someone already in the program.

Also your not allowed to ask for invites to the preview program on this forum.

 

I got an Xbox Live message yesterday asking me if I'd like to register for the preview program on the Xbox 360, which I thought was odd because I thought I was already in it... :|

 

They stopped the 360 preview programme but have restarted it due to some new features coming like getting the free gwg for xbox one for when you upgrade and new network features

 

Now you have my attention...

Yeah I signed back up for the preview on the 360 earlier. I still use it a lot, so why not.
