Preview program updated to factory default settings

Discus and support Preview program updated to factory default settings in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Just got on my xbox one today to discover there was an update.     Preview program updated to factory default settings


    Just got on my xbox one today to discover there was an update. I proceeded to install the update and when it was finished it reset to factory default settings. I had already been in the preview program and it seemed to delete it. Now I'm trying to open
    my xbox insider hub app to no avail it will not launch.

    Can someone cancel my pending for resetting factory defaults for my xbox one preview program

    It seems there are a subset of users that seem to be experiencing similar issues and also seem to be a part of the preview program. That's good that you already reported the problem. It could be linked to a recent build in the update preview program.

    Just for testing purposes, I would also recommend trying a
    Soft Factory Reset     to reset the operating system and restore settings to factory defaults. Your content will not be erased if you select Keep my Games and Apps.

    Let us know if that helps.

    The console is in the Xbox Preview Program and I have not yet tried the restore factory defaults as part of the Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool.

    this just happened to my xbox as well. It happened after my latest update, i am a participate of the new preview program. I have managed to get back online via wired connection after resetting my xbox to factory default settings but I still have various
    problems. I wish there was a way of removing the update
