    Preview program update November 6th


    Anyone having problems completing the 3.5gb update? I make it to about 80 or 90% then I get the "There was a problem with the update" message. I've hard rebooted the console several times now after about 5 attempts at updating. Trying for the 6th time now.

    October Update rolling out now!

    Well at least this means the november update will be announced soon.

    I have the TV running through my Xbox One, had for more than a year but the November update never included the "What's On" tab for my desktop. It only showed up after I joined the preview program which is why it appeared to me that it is only part of the
    preview program. Does anyone have the tab that is not in the preview program?

    Hi Kerplunkin! Have you gone into the Preview Dashboard and unregistered your console through that? That's actually the easiest way to do it. My guess as to why you're still receiving messages to agree to the new ToS is probably because you already had a
    preview build on your system at the time you tried to Opt Out - that is, the last "official" update to come out was the November update, but Preview Members continued to receive preview-builds during November for Stability Updates. So, if you got any of those
    stability updates after the initial November Build, you technically have a preview version O/S on your console.

    The reason that matters is, when you enroll in the program, it mentions that if you choose to unenroll from the program, you will continue to receive preview updates related to the current preview version. As soon as you receive the next PUBLIC build, your
    console will then stop receiving preview updates. (I would imagine there will be another preview build in February, which will be the 1502 build, but I can't swear to it.)

    Sorry for the issue with the 1811 update. Being that you are in the preview program, the best place to post with this is on the

    forum for the preview program    . They deal with the updates there being they beta tests. This forum is basically for the general audience that aren't in preview. You may

    opt out of the preview or go to a lower ring     that get updates later. For example in omega ring you get the update week before it goes to general availability. November patch will have nothing to do with the 1811 update. That strictly for preview.
